Hey,

How do i go about getting a 1920*1080 image out of final cut express 4 that deinterlaced?

Im exporting in h.264 and the footage is 1080 25p to start with but after exporting i end up with interlaced footage. Any ideas?

Regards

Hi Anette,

What kind of camera are you using? And have you upgraded FCE to the latest version?

Hi,

I am having trouble when trying to import clips shot in 1080p (progressive) .
The viewer in Log &Transfer is all green and I can't see the clip before importing it.
Also it is converted ti Interlaced in FCE.

Does FCE not handle progresive clips?

the Easy set up is AVCHD Apple intermediae codec 1920/1080i50 (I can chose between this and AVCHD 1440/1080 or HDV Apple intermediate codec)

Welcome back Sean! I was having a hard time coping with your e-absence.

This video is yet another piece of art - the shooting is great, the editing work simply top notch. Can't wait for the next piece!

Sean,
I have a Sony HDR-SR11 Handycam and a MacBook Pro with OS 10.6.2 Snow Lep. iMovie 8.0.5. Standard def. video imports onto iMovie fine. HD video is not recognized! Plenty of memory avail. The funny thing is, somehow I got a HD clip onto iMovie! Just one. Now, I can't seem to repeat the task. Help! Carl
